Are you panicking yet?! You should be panicking!! At least that seems National Geographic goal with its new series, How to Survive the End of the World. The channel seems like it is really becoming the "All Doomsday All the Time" channel with its various shows about surviving the apocalypse. I just watched the "Zombie Earth" episode.

The premise behind the show is they take a realistic look various doomsday scenarios, interviewing various scientists and experts about how things would work. Mixed in between the interviews are dramatizations of the doomsday unfolding. In this episode a whale gets rabies from Russians dumping chemicals in the ocean and attacks a ship. Later a scientist examining it's body gets infected and it all goes down hill from there.

It is pretty silly and the whole thing seems a bit alarmist in tone. But I have never seen zombie whales before so that was great.
