Although he's been running around filming for the past few weeks, we've not yet seen Peter Capaldi in his own Doctor Who outfit - until now, that is. The BBC have revealed the new look of The Doctor!
The Twelfth Doctor, clad in Dark navy-toned Victoriana, with a sort of almost equestrian-wear bent, cuts a striking image. The look echoes early rumours of a combination of modern sensibilities with vintage gear - especially the the rather nice Cardigan, very fashionaaaable, as one might be inclined to say - and cuts quite closely to the silhouette of the outfit worn by Matt Smith during the last half-series, particularly in the coat length. For all its similarities to his most recent incarnation though, it looks great on Peter Capaldi. Here's the full get up, as well as what the man himself had to say about his new togs:
He's woven the future from the cloth of the past. Simple, stark, and back to basics. No frills, no scarf, no messing, just 100 per cent Rebel Time Lord.
Ooh, Doctor! Clearly Twelve means business.
