You decide: superhero bodyguards

You're a public figure, the kind that attracts unwanted (and sometimes dangerous) attention. It might be helpful to have a bodyguard, and so you can choose any one (and only one) superhero to fill that role.

BUT, that superhero might drag some unwanted elements of their genre with them. So if Batman is your bodyguard, he'll be distant and terse at first, but eventually he'll warm up to you, letting you in on his life in little ways and finally begin to really care about you, and then you'll die horribly because Batman's life is filled with tragedy. If your bodyguard is Gizmoduck, you'll never die (you're on a Disney children's show!) but you'll also never experience a significant shift in the status quo . . . lessons you learn today will be completely forgotten by next week.

So, who's your bodyguard? And how does their genre baggage factor into your decision?
