New Additions to My Music Library

Recently my family observed the two-year anniversary of the passing of my step-dad, and finally got around to doing something that we'd meant to do for a while. We got the whole family together (my mom, my brothers, and my sister-in-law) and went through my step-dad's CD library, each picking out what we wanted to keep.

My step-dad's musical taste informed a good portion of what I've come to like, so I was happy to come away with some albums that I'd always wanted but had never bought. And it's like a musical time machine, honestly. Lemme give you a run-down:

  • Information Society, Information Society (1988)
  • Information Society, Peace and Love, Inc. (1992)
  • Eurythmics, Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) (1983)
  • Depeche Mode, Violator (1990)
  • Depeche Mode, Songs of Faith and Devotion (1993)
  • Queen, Jazz (1978)
  • Queen, The Game (1980)
  • Duran Duran, Rio (1982)
