...The CDC has issued a Level 1 response. The WHO is on the verge of declaring an international public health emergency. Given the insidious nature of ebola and the extremely positive results of the "secret serum" on the Americans who contracted the disease, do you think we are morally obligated to rush this treatment into Africa or do we need to wait and first make sure it is completely safe for humans to use? Is it fair that those from wealthy Western countries with the money to pay for the treatment should reap the benefits of the discovery while hundreds of poor Africans die? What do you think we should do?
