While heading over to the A. V. Club to see whether my favorite Community reviewer had anything to say on NBC finally proving that they, too, have their own EFEin their employ, I noticed this spectacular news:

Larry Wilmore will be taking over Stephen Colbert's time slot to host a show entitled The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore, "a comedic look at news, current events and pop culture from unique perspectives not typically on display in late night television."

I'm suddenly very okay with Her Excellency, The Reverend Sir Dr. Stephen T. Mos Def Colbert, D. F. A., Heavyweight Champion of the World feat. Flo-Rida La Premier Dame de France moving on before he has better known all 435 Congressional Districts.

In non-tragic TV News

Larry Wilmore, for those not in the know, is the Daily Show's Senior Black Correspondent, and probably one of my favorites of the correspondents who haven't already moved on (though, newcomers Jessica Williams and Jordan Klepper have both really hit their stride). I can't wait to see what Larry does with a whole half hour to kill, rather than just two or three minutes every couple weeks.
