Here's an even better look at Funko's GoT Figures - including Tyrion!

We've already seen the eBay leaks, but now the figures have trickled their way into stores and we're starting to see some better looks at Funko's first range of 6-inch action Game of Thrones figures, thanks to The Fwoosh - and they're pretty good (UPDATED: Official Press Release and Series 2 confirmation!).

Whilst the sculpts aren't 100% exact in capturing the likenesses of the actors, they're still incredibly well done and very detailed - even more impressive considering Funko's lack of experience with making figures like this. And The Fwoosh have definitely done a fantastic job of showing them off. Here's a few of their pictures - check out a lot more at their site in the links below!

I have to say, some of the figures I wasn't too keen on - particularly Jon and The Hound - look much better here. The Hound in particular, thanks to his gorgeous helmet.

They've also got a first look at the Tyrion figure that was missing from the eBay leak, and it's the armoured Tyrion as seen in Season 2's Blackwater, complete with Axe:

It's a shame about the smeared paint that's attempted to detail Peter Dinklage's facial hair, but aside from that it's a great sculpt - possibly the best in the line.

The figures are expected to become more widely available by this weekend, but if you're desperate to get your mitts on some Game of Thrones goodies for your desk, it appears that Barnes & Noble are the place to look for these right now.

UPDATE: In seeming light of the early leaks, Funko has officially revealed their Game of Thrones figures - including some promo pictures of the figures actually looking a lot worse than they do in the flesh - confirming that Series 1 is exclusive to Barnes and Noble stores in the US until March 4th, as well as a second series of figures due later this year, which will be shown at New York Toy Fair next week, including:

  • Arya Stark
  • Robb Stark
  • Jaime Lannister
  • Brienne of Tarth
  • Khal Drogo
  • Daenerys Targaryen (Mother of Dragons Outfit - YESSSSSSS)
