GoT Spoilers and Good Manners.

Interestingly a new article on spoilers cropped up on Jez just after I read this, so I thought I'd share it with you all...

I'm pretty much on board with this particular take on it, as a person from a region of Not America the reasoning of "you should have seen it by now" being applied to something which is not yet available to watch where I actually live gets deeply frustrating.

I do what I reasonably can (basically, I know and understand that comment threads are a minefield, and likely always will be, because people) but the increasing defensiveness from some websites to a matter where the solution is simply to not put spoilers in banner images or headlines is frankly, rather saddening.

For the record, iO9 does a good job of keeping details reasonably hidden, as do the Odeckers (Gawker main....not so much).
