Hewwo! Some of you may remember me as "that vaguely irritating guy" who disappeared suddenly about half a year ago. Long-story-short, I lost my internet connection because I'm poor. I know, the horror.
Anyway, I'm back on sporadic (albeit free!) wi-fi, all set to comment on how much the place has changed, only... it ain't, that much, really. Oh, sure, the text editor still seems to be somewhat frotzed. And they finally implemented some of those neato-burrito cosmetic gee-gaws, one of which I will take full and undeserved credit for.
But by-and-large, things look generally the same as they were back in August. I am at once relieved and disappointed. I hear whispers of a "Kinja 1.2", and shudder a bit and quote the fabled Bowl of Petunias. On the whole, though, things seem to have stayed remarkably stable and static (as Gawkerverse-wide resets go, y'know).
Or am I missing something obvious? I confess it's entirely possible, I've only been back for a few days. Anyone feeling charitable enough to play Inigo and give me the short "I will sum up" speech? I can offer no recompense (again, "poor") besides my gratitude and possibly a figurative laurel and hardy handshake!
