I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the levels of irony in this, but it appears that the producers of Atlas Shrugged have started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the third part of the intended trilogy. As Sean O'Neal says in this A.V. Club article, apparently the producers don't feel like the market has fairly spoken regarding their films, and are currently sucking funds out of the coffers of the hard-working, like parasites, so that they can finish up with Atlas Shrugged: Who Is John Galt? They want $250,000. Begging for donations apparently doesn't mean that they're compromising their Objectivist principles. If you choose to donate to another box office failure, then the ego of the rugged individualist is soothed all around.
