Äkta Människor Is Everything Almost Human Wishes It Were

I'm four episodes in to a ten-ep series of this Swedish production, set five minutes in the future in an imperfect world with humanoid robots incorporated into everyday life - and all the messiness that entails.

The hour-long eps are utterly compelling, and the writing and storytelling are as good as anything now on the air. If it keeps up, this is Sopranos/Breaking Bad-level stuff in genre.

I am recommending this unreservedly to all 'deckers, 'niners, and denizens of writers' rooms everywhere.

Can I get a witness?
